The National Examination Council has completed its administrative building worth N120m, which it started 10 years ago.
The administrative facility, which is made up of 89 offices, was completed to enable the staff have enough offices to “discharge their duties and give their best to the organisation.”
The project was inaugurated by the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the organisation, Prof. Charles Uwakwe, in Minna, the headquarters of the council.
Uwakwe said, “It has not been easy. For 10 good years, we were on this project. Today, we are happy that we have finished it and we will start using it.”
The registrar said that the challenges of office accommodation, which the management of the organisation had faced had reduced considerably with the completion of the project.
He advised the staff to make prudent use of the facility and maintain it, so that it would stand the test of time.
